Susan Saalsaa
When Your Cabinet Girl was founded, Susan was there from the very beginning—on the ground floor, working alongside Jess to build the company from an idea into a business. She played an integral role in shaping the brand, leading sales and serving clients with the same care and excellence that became the company’s foundation.
After three years of growing the business together, Susan took over ownership in 2026, continuing the vision they built side by side. Today, she carries that foundation forward with the same heart, dedication, and commitment to beautiful, functional design.
Susan studied Architecture at The Ohio State University and began specializing in cabinet and closet design in 1999, serving clients across Ohio and the Chicago area for over 20 years. In 2020, she moved to Tampa and joined Jess at a custom cabinetry manufacturer and design firm. Susan has built dealer networks, opened showrooms, and trained fellow designers in specialized design software—bringing both expertise and excellence to every project.
Jessica Johnson
With a strong background in sales, account development, operations, and customer relationship management, Jessica Johnson brings a people-first approach and proven sales expertise to the cabinet industry.
Jessica’s career has been built around understanding customers’ needs, developing lasting relationships, and helping clients find the right products and solutions for their homes and businesses. Her experience in both inside and outside sales, retail, operations, training, and account management has given her the ability to guide customers from the initial conversation through the final purchase with professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
In the cabinet business, Jessica combines her passion for sales with a commitment to exceptional customer service. She understands that cabinetry is more than a product—it is an important part of creating a beautiful, functional space.
